The African Journal Archive is a retrospective open access journal service that preserves and makes available African journal literature dating as far back as 1906, emanating from a wide base of publishers and societies on the African continent.
This collection providing searchable full-text articles is one of the largest sets of full-text African content available on a single platform.
The Carnegie Corporation of New York initiated and sponsored the original project to digitise older African journals. These journals are available free to all via the website: www.ajarchive.org. We have however also added the collection to our Sabinet African ePublications (SA ePublications) collection, which makes it not only one of the largest collection of its kind, but also easy to use since the platform was designed with the end user in mind.
