South African Government Gazettes and Provincial Gazettes
South African Gazettes are important in keeping up to date with proclamations by the President and both general and government notices made by various government departments.
The Government Gazette publishes Regulations and other notices in terms of the various Acts, as well as changes of names, company registrations, land restitution notices, liquor licence applications, transport permits and much more. Legal notices also form part of the Government Gazette and includes sales in execution and other notices by law required to be published such as notices of insolvencies, liquidations and late estates. Board notices and notices from the Law societies are also published in the Government Gazette.
Provincial Gazettes cover rezonings and other notices on provincial level respectively for the various provinces in South Africa.
